Can you skip the beach portion of the Godfrey Tour?

Can anyone who has taken the Godfrey tour in St. Thomas please tell me if he will take you back to the ship if you opt not to go to one of the 3 beaches?

Absolutely! We ended up doing this cuz we passed on the beach we really wanted (Megan's Bay) since no one else opted for that one. We figured we must have made a mistake! We didn't like the other 2 beaches once we arrived- too crowded and small for our taste. After a few minutes at the final beach stop (Sapphire Beach), Godfrey took anyone back to the ship that wanted to go. It was no problem at all. It worked out great for us since this was our first formal night, too with a 6:15pm seating.
