just realized that we will be in Ketchikan on a sunday...will most everything be open?

I have seen very few places in any port closed during the day when the ships are docked. I'm not much of a shopper, but the only place I can think of that I found closed on Sunday that I wanted to visit was a glacial-soap store in Juneau.

thanks for the shopping info....we aren't big shoppers but i am wondering about museums etc. we will probably do Creek Street and maybe Married Mens Trail.

All the tourist stuff will be open. The only thing closed are local government offices and the city bus.

All the shops owned by the cruise companies will be open. If you are cruising in 2009, there should be some end of season sales going on.
