Info needed about parking at the Port of Tampa

We are on the Legend in October. We will be coming from our DD's Disney wedding, and our car will be full of post wedding "stuff". I am thinking that parking at the port will be safer than our car sitting in a hotel parking lot-but what can you tell me about it? Is it locked, fenced, guarded, etc? We have parked at both NOLA and Canaveral, but left the car empty, so it wasn't a big issue.

Its an inside, garaged, and gated till you you return. There is security, but someone CAN walk into the garage. I haven't heard of problems at the lot in the past. You can always leave the goodies at my house:D:D:D
