port hawkers for sting ray city

Has anyone had success in booking the sting ray city trip through the hawkers on the port? Also does capt. marvin have there people on the port that you can book through? what is there walk in price?

We did the Moby Dick tour in March and they were accepting walk-up's without reservations, but mostly for the afternoon departure - the morning run was full. Walk-up price was the same as the reservation price - I think $40 per person in cash. Good luck!:)
