Rum cake question

We are on the mailing list for Tortuga and we always get specials sent to us as well as coupons we can use to order products online.

 

Got me wondering, are the prices about the same online as they would be when we're in GC?

A large Tortuga rum cake in GC is usually about US$25... occasionally as cheap as US$20. You have to then carry it home. I believe their website offers a price which includes shipping in the US.

I've seen these on every cruise and port....never bought it and never tasted it....are they really as much as its cracked up to be?

The prices seem to be about the same on the ship as they are in port. We always buy them on the ship on the last day. It just seems easier that way.

I've paid around 20.00 in GC for the large size. I have also ordered from their website and paid 32.00 shipping included.
