Using OBC from two different sources

I have two OBC's for my upcoming cruise. One is due to a price reduction on my cabin (I booked ES,) and the other is an OBC my TA offered when I booked back in Feb. This is not Carnival's OBC offer if you booked a cabin at a certain rate. Anyway, I emailed the TA today, who informed me the OBC can be used for anything except gratuities and casino. So my question is, since my shore excursions are already booked through outside sources and I don't drink, does anybody know if I can apply the OBC to arcade credits for my kids? I figure I can get a coffee card, maybe a soda card for the kids, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the remainder. Also, I'm guessing (hoping) that the OBC due to the price reduction would have no restrictions - ie. could be used in casino or for gratuities. How can I be sure that the purchases I make that would be covered by the TA's OBC actually come out of that "pot" and not the pot that could be used to cover gratuities, so I don't end up with a balance on my Sail and Sign account at the end of the trip, even though I stayed within the amount of my total OBC (which is a little over $300?)

Thanks in advance.

So, are you saying that, for example, the first day aboard I can cash out the entire amount of my OBC at the casino (as a test - not to really spend it all,) and then can check my account to see if a balance has been charged to my credit card or if it has reduced my OBC to zero? I could then redeposit the $$ back onto my SnS account to be used for my other shipboard expenses - the coffee card, gratuities, etc, but would know for sure whether the casino and gratuities would, in fact, come out of all the OBC and not just the non-TA OBC. It's a convoluted way to figure it out, but I really don't want to make purchases (photos, whatever) I don't really want, just to use the credit, if I can apply any and all parts of the OBCs to gratuities and casino credits.

Thanks for the input so far...

I think if you just asked the casino to cash it out, there is a 3 or 4% charge unless you are cashing out a one armed bandit, so I wouldnt suggest going up to the desk and cashing out your OBC. .... but you could if you dont mind paying the fee.

They add the gratuities every day and the 2nd day I just go to the purser's desk if your tv doesnt show interactive so you can view your credits and debits. ... then the purser's desk will print it off so you can see how much you have and that they subtracted the gratuities from your OBC. Iv had this on just about every cruise and never had a problem in spite that it says tips dont come off OBC.... they do.
