sorry ....another dress question

we are going on QV a 4day cruise, the booklet we have recieved says there will be a black and white formal. my query is to those that know is, if i wear a ivory gown with black accesories will i stick out like a sore thumb, or do other ladies wear non-white. i have no problem in wearing black but have set my heart on ivory gown not worn as yet, thanking anyone in advance for help:

You should be just fine with the gown you have your heart set on. It is true that many of the ladies do like to particapate in this ball, or dressing for it at least, but there are also many that are wearing different colors as well. I would not feel out of place in an ivory gown.

 

My first cruise I wore black and gold, second cruise I did find a wonderful black and white gown, so wore that.

 

I have never been on QV, only QM2. One of the things I love to do is sit at the bar in the Chart room where I have full view of the hallway that leads to where pictures are being taken. Watching what all the ladies have chosen to wear is really great fun!
