David and Ivan Extreme tour - tell me about Laguna Azul

We're considering taking David and Ivan's Extreme tour but the info on Laguna Azul is kinda skimpy at best. Is there an actual beach there since it's a lagoon? is there food available? Looks like they have kayak rentals...anyone know how much that is? Any info I can get on Laguna Azul is more than I have now.

It's best to email them if your wanting to do this tour for this was the one we had wanted to do but they lacked the min 6 people for this. We instead did the Chacchoben Mayan Tour with David on our CCL cruise last week. I must say (sorry CCL) but David was an excellent guide and was very knowlegeable and personable as compared to the cruise tour guide.

I'd read that post and some of the others on the extreme tour. We booked today for 6. Got an almost instant response from Ivan to my questions...guess they have Crackberry service in Costa Maya.
