Mine actually turned out real cute. They can shoot it digitally at a lot of places, so if you don't like the first shot, they can re-shoot before making a print.

Hi,

I take passport photos for the Post Office and I would recommend that you wear makeup if that what you would like. Also, try to wear anything but a light color, since passport photos have to have a white or off white background. The people who wear something with color don't appear so washed out, even though it's basically a head shot. The only real restriction is head gear,which is not allowed except for religious purposes.
