chezbo99 Posted August 28, 2009 #27 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I've only been on 2 cruises [so far!]. Simon added so much to our first experience but I don't remember who was the CD in Hawaii just last year...but then we weren't on the ship all that much, always in port. I don't think the CD could negatively impact my enjoyment...but I know a good one enhances it.
Duff Man Posted August 28, 2009 #28 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I find this thread fascinating. I don't think I could name or identify any CD from our cruises. The CD just doesn't "do" much for us, but I have no doubt that they make the cruise very enjoyable for many many pax. They are, in fact, very entertaining. Now, I did leave a CD on a ship once. Wait, that was a DVD. If anyone finds a Seinfeld DVD in a Jewel AC, let me know! :D
Rare nunuc2000 Posted August 28, 2009 #29 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Any idea who the CD is on the Sun... or who will be in November?
Studebaker59 Posted August 28, 2009 #30 Share Posted August 28, 2009 I thought that Shona did a great job on the Dawn in May. She was very visible, always walking around the ship, and did her job in a friendly, efficient, fun way. She's a lovely young woman who added much to our cruise. Our all-time favorite was Dave Armour on Carnival. According to CC, he died a few years ago. He was great!
