What is the Resort Tax

A resort tax, or resort fee, MAY be a charge for using the facilities of the resort. It will vary in amount and if you are using PL or HW will be charged AT the hotel, not as part of the prepaid reservation.

 

It MAY include parking, internet and other things, but maybe not. Basically it is another way for a hotel to make money, regardless of how you make the reservation....supposedly it covers using the facilities.....and may or may not include anything else....

 

Also, you may not "see" any benefit from it.......
