Will in sunny FL Posted August 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2009 You will not go wrong with a snorkeling trip with Coral Breeze & a local lunch on Caye Caulker with look around time to see how the locale there in paradise live. tragicdesign Posted August 31, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Does Carnival offer a cave tubing excursion? I'm looking on their website and can't seem to find it. Cave tubing. No question!
lsycko1 Posted August 31, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2009 I think we went through Extreme Cave Tubing and had a fab time!
Rare lazydayz Posted August 31, 2009 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Carnival no longer offers it due to a death a year or so ago. However, there are many reputable vendors. We loved cave tubing and booked it independently with no problems.
GinDon Posted September 1, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 1, 2009 GinDon here..............We also went with Extreme Cave Tubing, and had a wonderful time. From what I can see by reading here, Extreme Cave Tubing has one difference with the other companies: you free float in your tubes. That is, you aren't linked up in a chain like many other companies. At least we weren't, two years ago. I guess some would prefer being linked, but I liked paddling on my own. Our guide was right in our midst the whole time, making sure no one floated away out of his group. A quick Google Search should bring up their web site. There are several other reputable companies out there, lots of posts on these boards about them. It's a unique tour, something you can't do in very many places. Very, very safe!! I'd be happy to answer any questions. Deena
