westcoastgirl1 Posted August 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2009 Arrg, just lost my well-written post. Here's another, perhaps not as clearly written post. I'm in port in Puerto Vallarta on Nov. 11/09. I would like to take my kids surfing (19, 16 10) but am not sure where or how. I saw there is good surfing nearby in Sayulita. Does anyone have any experience with getting to Sayulita from the cruise ship terminal? How (taxi, bus, surfing tour operator)? Is this a decent excursion to book privately? Please feel free to make recommendations/suggestions of other shore excursions my boys might like (we've already done zip-lining so want to try something different). Thanks in advance. Loganeski Posted August 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Indeed surfing is in Sayulita, we stopped there about 2 years ago on a tour to San Blas. Saw various guys (and girls) surfing out there. If there is any busconnection it will take up a long time. I think the drive from PV to Sayulita by smallbus (private tour) took about 45 - 60 minutes, but I am not sure. Maybe you can check with the guy we had on this private tour for more details/transportation or help. http://www.superiortoursvallarta.com
westcoastgirl1 Posted August 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Thank you for the link. I will definately take a look. It sounds like it may be a bit far but the surfing does look good.
