Cab fare from San Juan pier to Charlie's car rental?

My ship ports in San Juan at 7am. I plan on renting a car from Charlie's and driving to El Yunque. Since Charlie's opens at 8am, I figure the earliest they could pick me up would be 8:20 if I call them right at 8am. Then I have the trip back to Charlie's to pick up the car.

I would rather be at Charlie's at 8am when they open and get the car then to speed things up and get on the road. Our ship leaves at 3:30. I am wondering if I could catch a cab from the pier and have them take me to Charlie's. If so, what should I expect to pay for fare per person? Also, I assume the taxi's would know where Charlie's is located.
