cali-croozer Posted August 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2009 We're staying at the Long Beach Hilton pre-cruise and wondering what's within walking distance (looking for a place to eat breakfast and dinner). Thanx
win1 Posted August 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2009 Hi there, Take a look at http://www.visitlongbeach.com. It's got lots of great information about what to do and it is operated by the Visitors & Convention Center. We've got great places to have fun before you go onboard your cruise. Have a great trip, Winnie
cali-croozer Posted August 30, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted August 30, 2009 thanx winnie.........that's a great site. :) But, I am hoping to hear from somebody who's stayed there and their experience with dining in the immediate area.
win1 Posted August 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2009 The Long Beach Hilton is centrally located to everything downtown. I've not stayed there (as I live in the immediate area) but I've enjoyed numerous dinners there normally Christmas to celebrate my spouses birthday. The Passport bus will get you to where you want to go also. We've got great places to enjoy breakfast and dinner. Did you have anything in mind, what do you enjoy? For brunch the Queen Mary has been sensational. There are many other sensational dining places nearby. We've got it here. Enjoy your cruise & visit, Winnie
