Uxmal - Progreso

We have been to Progreso a couple of times and have visited both Merida and the Dzibilchltun ruins. We are going back to Progreso this month and we would like to visit the Uxmal ruins. Does anyone know how far away this is from Progreso? I believe our ship arrives at 8 a.m. and leaves around 3 p.m. So we will be there all day.

Uxmal is about 80 miles from Progreso. It's the most impressive, prettiest and least crowded of the ruins. Great choice.

Hi Luv, Uxmal it´s only 1.5 hrs. from dowtown and if you hire a taxi or take the tour with autoprogreso at 8:30 as late, you can still make it; and you won´t miss the ship.
