I sailed her at the end of May and it was the hottest I have ever been on a ship. Some areas and times were unbearable(especially the casino). I won't likely go again on her until I hear it's better.
yep. Without it, no way, no how. But, thank goodness for it, because I'm a beach girl through and through and don't want to live anywhere that isn't close to the beach(and I mean the ocean, not a lake beach!).
Certainly your opinion. I had an awesome cruise except for the serious amount of sweating I did. I didn't complain about anything else(not even the fact that we got COVID). I absolutely go with the flow and the whole week kept telling my daughter "it's alright, we're on vacation!" whenever little things didn't go right. But, I really can't stand to sweat through all of my clothes for a week. Everything else was awesome!
I'm fluffy and over 50 too. That's why I asked a bunch of others to make sure it wasn't just me. I didn't hear from anyone that didn't think it was crazy hot in certain places.
That's because they have to charge the local tax rate while in port. You'll see the same tax on drinks you get while in port(even if on the drink package)
I assure you that you won't need a sweater on the Horizon. And it wasn't just when the casino was packed. It was hot no matter what. In fact, even hotter at night.
I'm a native Floridian, so I can deal with the heat. But, I don't expect to miserable indoors for the entire cruise. Most nights, the dining room wasn't sweltering, but it was noticeable warm. Other parts of the ship were awful.
