brandy4598 Posted June 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2012 Has anyone sailed on Carnival during New Year's Eve? I've booked a cruise during New Year's and am wondering if Carnival still has a party to celebrate? I was told by someone who did a New Year's cruise a couple of years ago that the New Year's party wasn't actually held on New Year's Eve. Any comments??? Chris64 Posted June 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2012 My family went a couple of years ago (2009 rolling over into 2010) and they had free champagne most of the day and a HUGE deck party with free champagne again that night. The party was for the passengers and crew alike. It was a blast!
pe4all Posted June 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2012 Also - besides the great deck party and free champagne, hats, noisemakers they give out, if your ship has a big screen on Lido, they televise the countdown from Times Square. Lots of fun!

Lots of fun! Great! So, they actually had the party on New Year's. That's good to hear. I thought it was kind of weird from them to have it on a different day.
