tivvy Posted June 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2004 My choice of cabin for the Navigator is either 1534 or 1670 on Deck 10. I have only been mid ship on previous cruises. 1534 (front) is right below the frist floor of the shipshape spa and 1670 (back)is directly below the Windjammer. Can anyone help with this decision I have to make. Thanks Much!
Nitemare Posted June 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Depends on if you want to see where you're going or where you've been!
paws43tails Posted June 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Depends on if you want to see where you're going or where you've been! i like that answer! we've been at both ends and they were equal to me... although we've only seen the port side so far! laginog Posted June 27, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2004 It's pretty windy at the front but if you don't mind that, it probably doesn't matter. For me, I prefer the back. Check out the ships deckplans and see what is nearby that you'll be spending a lot of time at. That will save a lot of walking!!!
imsulin Posted June 27, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 27, 2004 You won't get much of a breeze if you have an aft balcony cabin. (Nitemare....great answer!)
romy Posted June 27, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 27, 2004 It's my personal opinion that midship is best if you're at all, and I mean at all prone to seasickness. I never thought that would be a problem until our second cruise when we were way up front. Never again, I was sick most of the trip. I even tried dramamine, meds from the ship's doc and a wrist band, all to no avail. The seas weren't even abnormally rough. Just something to consider. Like I said it really surprised me because I don't get car sick or air sick or anything. Hope this helps! Romy
