Shallwe123 Posted June 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2013 Hi guys, Really concerned after reading the terrible events in Central Europe. We leave tomorrow morning for 2 nights in Salzburg and then onto the Mozart for cruise down the Danube. What in your experience happens in these situations - do you think Titan/Uniworld will cancel. We certainly do not fancy staying in hotels and being "coached" everywhere. Thank you J

Hi Pully8, I have just rang Titan/Uniworld, they advise - "they are in a Management Crisis Meeting" at the moment to discuss the situation and they will let me know the outcome by the end of the day ! "All river boats are unable to move and passengers are unable to get off" she advised. We fly from Heathrow tomorrow morning. Thanks for your kind wishes and our thoughts are with the folk in the effected regions.
Shallwe123 Posted June 4, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Hi everyone, Titan rang at 4pm BST to cancel our cruise. So sad as we were so looking forward to it and being aboard Mozart. A full refund is being arranged. Our thoughts and good wishes go to the folks in the flood areas - keep safe. x
