Random opinions and final thoughts on my 3 day escape cruise

It is definitely the best ship ever. The food was beyond outstanding and the staff was great as always. Everyone on the ship got along really well and everyone was friendly. Smoking was not as restricted as I thought it would be, the casino was about 50% Pro smoker lol, Plus late at night when there's not many people around at all we can pretty much smoke anywhere we want on deck lol. If you've never cruised Norwegian this is definitely the time to do it. Yachtsman beverage package was awesome and even if I had to pay taxes on it I would have gladly. Definitely planning another cruise soon. Margaritaville and O'Sheehans was wayyyy too crowded. The haven is beautiful and the amenities are awesome. The haven bar and courtyard are both very cool. The haven restaurant sucks.

The menu is very small and limited. They couldn't get my burger right to save their life lol. I tell them extra well done and it comes to the table filled with pink in the middle

I love the haven restaurant. Great service and decent food. The best part it is not too crowded at night since most are out and about.

Haven and I think you said the supper show or some type of show, that's 2 times but you said 'nobody got it right, so how many burgers did you down on this 3 day cruise?

As far as the Haven restaurant, I didn't have good experiences in the Epic's. Since many others have liked it, I chalked it up to bad luck.

Who was your butler? Did you like him?

I never said I was going to have a party I said if I wanted to I could and I had the right to. I only saw the butler a couple times when I ordered stuff he never just freely came by. I never saw the Concierge at all.

a) I think they should rename the UBP as the Yachtsman beverage package.

b) The Haven Restaurant is actually really good. Yes, we saw an undercooked burger there too one day, but since we ate there for 9 breakfasts, 2 lunches & 2 dinners.....the rest of the food was excellent.

Best steak I had on board (and maybe in the last few years) was in the Haven on the Escape TA. It was melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection.

I will say we only did lunch there once, and the menu was uninspiring enough to make us skip it the rest of the cruise - except for the brownie dessert....

It is a static menu, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Most of what I ate were hamburgers and fries. In fairness I didn't do a whole lot of eating I did more drinking lol.

I agree the food quality and menu suck in the haven.

The service is over the top. All the hovering makes some feel very important I guess.

Actually, the service was kind of slow, but the food was awesome.

Maybe if you ever sail on NCL, you'll see it first hand.

Yeah the service was very slow, I was just surprised at how small the menu was.

I was also upset with Norwegian for not letting me take pictures of the million dollar quartet show.

Have you ever been to a show anywhere before? This is standard at any theater anywhere.
