Formal Night

We are booked for a Disney Caribbean cruise. I'm trying not to overpack. How dressy is formal night? Are there some that just don't participate in it or is everyone in formal wear.

On DCL, you'll find all manner of dress. Even on the suggested "formal" night. That means there will people dressed "to the nines" as well as those who will show up in t shirt and shorts.

Except for the extra pay dining venues, the only "dress code" on DCL is "no swimwear or tank tops for dinner". Beyond that, every just wears what works for them (after all "it's my vacation", isn't it?).

My, personally, I dress up. I like looking like a princess (yes, I've even worn a tiara on occasion).
