Asilah or Tetouan from Tangier

Our cruise stops in Tangier for one day in November. DH and I have already done a day excursion of the city and sites of Tangier (yes, we even bought a carpet!). This time we would like to do something different. Our ship offers tours to Asilah and Tetouan. Are these worth the time and expense? Perhaps there is something else not to miss by way of a private tour? Appreciate any suggestions and would like to know about other experiences in and around Tangier.

I only have one day in Tangier port and we have already been on the Tangier city tour.

Has anyone visited either nearby city?
