Carnival Fantasy out of Mobile on 9/9

A little nervous about these tropical storms...... anyone else on this cruise? Wondering if carnival is going to cancel......

It looks like the storm will stay out of the gulf but there is no way of knowing yet. I doubt Carnival will cancel the cruise unless it is bearing down on Mobile. I always buy travel insurance for cases like this so I can have options. Good luck and have fun!

Not really. The latest track has it going east. And even if it does come in the gulf they will not put you in harms way. Don't stress. You will know more by tomorrow. Are you local or flying to mobile?

Out of Mobile, I assume you're doing a Western Caribbean? The only storm that should be a worry would be T.S. Kataia which is between the Yucatan and Mexico expected to eventually go into Mexico. That could POSSIBLY effect Cozumel. Irma should stay well away from you.

Yes ma'am we are cruising to Cozumel and progresso. I just hope Irma doesn't decide to turn into the Gulf of Mexico.
