chrismch Posted September 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2007 I was looking at the American Express site and they mentioned a benefit of receiving a one time upgrade of a suite dreams turn down service. Could not find any info on it on the Silversea cruise site. Could someone explain what exactly it is?
cruiseyguy Posted September 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2007 I ask about this in regard to a Seabourn cruise I took. If done right, it means you'll receive a couple of "snifters" of brandy with one of the normal evening turndowns. AmEx pays for the brandy. luvtojump Posted September 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2007 On our SS cruise, the Platinum AX "sweet dreams" turn down service included a nice box of Godiva chocolates. Not the 2/4 piece one that everyone gets. This one was 8/10 pieces and included a note from one of the officers and a rose. Nice when you consider that it also includes a bottle of Dom and $300 in shipboard credit. Enjoy.
CynScotland Posted March 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2008 How do you qualify for the "Sweet Dreams" service? Do you have to pay for the cruise with your platinum AX or just have to have one?
Sea Daze Posted March 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2008 SilverSea requires you to deposit AND pay for the entire cruise with Amex platinum to receive perks.

Thats what the brandy was doing in our suite last week on a Seabourn cruise--also strawberries and cream==it was a real nice touch! Glad to hear it will be on our next cruise--on Silversea!
