This was a fast paced excursion that was moderately difficult. They have 10 zip lines and a rope ladder that was @ 50' high that you can either climb or bypass to get to another platform. Most lines were between 100-1000 feet. The last one known as Superman was almost a mile long and you got up to 60 MPH. They do put a go pro on your helmet but it doesn't impede your view at all. In fact, the video is better if you move your head around while zipping.

All the lines are dual wire and the harnesses are double connected as well. They are very safe as they move you around the platforms and they know what they are doing. The ATV's were a nice break in between and we got plenty wet from the creek we went through but I thought it could have been just a little more daring.

The tube slide at the end is like the one on the ship and if you want to walk back up you can do it a couple times, time permitting. The ride back to the base camp in the back of the troop transport was a nice finishing touch!!

We booked Los Veranos on our own online.

It is in Puerto Vallarta.

$67 per person vs probably $99 from Carnival.

Los Veranos has 13 lines.

Google the info and do what you feel is best.

Cabo DOES have a zip line. It is more desert like. Los Veranos is very much a jungle adventure.

If you read reviews of Los Veranos or El Eden or Eco Adventures, you just make a decision based on what is best for you.

Read Trip Advisor and sites other than this one , also.

Do remember that Puerto Vallarta time is 1 hr ahead of ship's time.

You need to know this when booking your excursions outside of the Carnival excursions.

It depends on your comfort level of wanting the guarantee of getting back onboard.

The owners of Los Veranos were very comforting, you can call Maria and she will answer questions. Get number from web site.

They depend on tourists and will get you there and back safely!!

no, you cannot book the Carnival excursion directly.

I was trying to suggest that you have less expensive alternatives to the Carnival excursion.

Many people suggest booking on your own.

The Los Veranos tour id different than the Carnival offering.

Again, just Google the options, and decide what is best for your comfort level.

Google the zip line in Cabo, also, and decide if that or the jungle looks better.

You Tube has numerous videos from both Cabo and Puerto to look at.

Have fun!!
