Las Caletas in PV not through ship?

Las Caletas is an excursion site operated by Vallarta Adventures. The cruise lines have an exclusive deal that prevents Vallarta Adventure from selling direct to cruise ship passengers. Infact, Vallarta Adventures, as the excursion operator, is not allowed to sell any excursion direct cruise passengers if the ship sells the same excursion.

You may find third-party excursion brokers that offer Las Caletas online but at the end of the day, you will be told that all of the slots are reserved (by the cruise line).

It's through the ship or nothing.

If you try to book directly with Vallarta Adventures the cost works out to about $93 per person (with the online discount). But they do want your local hotel/address and also a phone number. The tours they operate for those of us in live in PV often will have different times then the cruise line tours which are scheduled to fit with your port times.
