Blue lagoon on dawn

Is the blue lagoon open when we embark at noon.

It was not open when we sailed out of Boston on 7/3. Only the pool, the buffet and the Venetian.

Typically the blue lagoon has not been open at that time on embarkation day...

It was not open for lunch on embarkation day when we sailed 8/7. However, we ate there midweek during our cruise and it was a disappointment. We tried the chicken wings and the fried fish. Both were very soggy and tasted like they had been reheated via the microwave. Just our opinion though.

Honestly have not been overly impressed with the food. Did like the strawberry shortcake on the spirit. Not so much so on star or jewel.

Guess it will be MDR for us. We have had suite last three cruises so it was cagneys. Actually I like the dinning room menu better.

What's happening? They used to have a sail away BBQ on the Pool deck when we left Boston on the Dream, Spirit, and Dawn, and that was in October. Do they still have BBQ's during the day on the pool deck?:confused:

Usually yes, weather permitting. But sailaway BBQ is usually way after lunch time.
