upgrade 8/15 Noordam

Just got email that we are able to upgrade to a suite...either signature or Neptune. I'm very excited since this will be our first suite. Tried to call and the department was already closed....Oh well...I will try tomorrow....We are only going to be on the ship for 4 days before getting off in Skagway so I am leaning toward the signature suite instead of the Neptune. Either way, I'm excited.

Call first thing in the morning because the offer has probably been extended to other passengers as well. First come, first served.

You'll enjoy the extra real estate, and if the price isn't too different you might like to experience the perks that come with the Neptune Suite.

The price difference isn't really that much but when we looked at the amenities offered in the Neptune suites we just feel we wouldn't have an opportunity to enjoy them on the short time we will be on the ship. I am planning to call early because it did say first come first serve. Wish me luck!

Good luck. We took an upsell on our June cruise to Neptune, but we were on a 12 night cruise and the cost difference from the upsell from Signature to Neptune was not that significant so we took it. loved the Neptune amenities, on a longer cruise you definitely use them!

Sounds like a cruisetour. SOme have just a 3 or 4 day cruise segment instead of the whole week

We are doing a cruise tour and disembark in Skagway. We then stay overnight there and take the railroad to Whitehorse where we stay over night.

Did you end up taking the upsell?

We did...but did the signature suite instead of the neptune. If we have the opportunity to do this again on a longer cruise, I would definitely go for the Neptune. Thanks for asking!

We are on the 9/19 noordam, curious what the offer was cost wise, we are already in SY but would love a Neptune suite.

It was $39 pp to upgrade to the Signature and $89 to Neptune. We are only on the ship for a few days before we disembark in Skagway for the land portion so I have no idea if the rate we paid to upgrade was less because of the number of days....either way I would check it out. Shelly
