French-based river cruise line CroisiEurope has confirmed that the Elbe Princesse has just been placed in the water in Saint-Nazaire and is due for delivery in mid-February 2016. The ship will feature 40 outward-facing cabins, a restaurant and a panoramic lounge at the back of the ship, and its main propulsion will be two stern paddlewheels powered by two 300 kW hydraulic engines. The dual paddlewheel design will allow it to cruise year round, even during periods of low water when river ships using other types of propulsion are unable to cruise. Its maiden voyage will sail from Berlin to Prague on the Elbe and Vltava rivers.

Sorry Jazz - I should have been clearer. First, click the link, then look for "Documents" and try to open the pdf file labeled "Elbe Princesse."

You're right -- it tries to load a pdf but the screen stays blank.
