My husband and I have a cruise scheduled in Jan 2017 that goes to Pisa and Rome. Is there anyone that has been in January that could give me a good idea of what they wore and if they weather was cold. We are from NC and I hate being cold. :)

Thanks in advanced.

Rachel

It will likely be on the chilly side in Pisa.

In Rome, the weather is extremely variable at that time of year. You actually have slightly less likelihood of rain than in late November or December, and you can get some days that are what I'd call balmy. But it can also be cool and can get cold at night. If you are really unlucky you'll get some real blustery winter weather.

I visit Rome in most seasons and I live in Atlanta. I think the weather between the two is actually pretty similar. Rome may not get quite as cold, overall.
