Queens Room Singer - Queen Victoria

Can anyone please confirm the singer in the Queens Room on the Queen Victoria at the moment? We are sailing for the two weeks from 30th July and are hoping its Paul Ritchie as having had two sailings with him he is by far our favourite singer in the Queens Room so far. Thanks

Hi Paul Ritchie was on the Queen Elizabeth during the WC this year and he had to leave because his Mom died. Word was he wasn't intending on coming back. I would be great if he does return as I agree he was great and was a very agreeable fella.

I can't remember the name of the singer on the QV this year but he was pretty good and did a lot of cole porter and sinatra standards.

Thanks Roscoe for the quick reply. Very sad to hear Paul's mum has died. Hopefully we will have the pleasure of dancing in his presence again one day.

Paul Ritchie is working ashore now, it's terrible news I know.

Hopefully he will be back with us sometime in the future.

This past April, the Queen's Room vocalist was a Paul Christopher. He may be an OK singer for lounge or easy listening, but as a singer for ballroom dancing, he just doesn't cut it. He himself admits he cannot dance at all, and has no sense of singing to the beat of the melody. Most singers can move to the beat of the music, but this singer is stiff as a board and his feet are glued to the floor when he sings.
