Day 7

Here we are, the last full day on this lovely ship. The sea is like a mill pond, looking forward to visiting another Greek Island today.

After missing the experience of a Marina day it looks like we are having one this afternoon, that's a bonus, looking forward to that. Mrs Fudge has the suitcases out already and is slowly packing, Mr. Fudge is already looking at future cruises with Seabourn, we have the floating deposit already, what a great deal that is, four years to decide on a cruise, fantastic!

The Island is a quiet reserved place, some nice tourist shops, cafe's bars, the castle was worth a visit, two hours well spent exploring.

We have a reservation tonight in the MDR with four friends we have met on the cruise, a lovely American couple and an Australian couple, time to say goodbye and swap experiences of the cruise.

The Marina day was great, went on the kayak had a nice paddle around the med. Managed a late bridge tour for 30 minutes, Captain Dexter was on form as usual. Mrs. Fudge spent the last of her on board credit with 1.39 dollars spare, how good is that?

Cover blown:!!!

One of our fellow passengers has been reading the blog from day one, he challenged me to find him, the power of the internet took about 6 minutes to locate him in the sky bar bar, a nice gentleman, as are all the fellow cruisers on the ship.

The pool deck is a hive of activity preparing for the Officers on deck party.

Here we are back In Istanbul cruise over. Bags packed on gone, one final coffee from David in Seabourn Square. We had a nice surprise when we went to check out, the ship had reduced port charges on one of our stops, Seabourn very kindly passed this onto their guests, 375 dollar refund, now that's what I call service!

Our first Seabourn cruise has been wonderful, the crew could not do enough for the guests, a very relaxed atmosphere, as I said previously this will not be our last cruise with Seabourn, a big thank you to Captain Dexter and his staff.

Thank you all for your nice comments.

Happy Sailing!

Thankyou for your running commentary, it has made our cruise in just over two weeks come all that bit closer.

PendleWitch, I have to ask, every time I see your name I wonder if we're near neighbours? We live between Chipping and Bashall Eaves.
