Best way to Hamilton for someone using a cane.

I walk with a cane but can walk Okay. What is there to do without walking too far. Also I heard if you take the bus there is no charge for seniors, true? What should I not miss. Not too interested :confused:in shopping.

The best way to get to Hamilton from the Dockyard is the ferry. There are restaurants, parks, shops, a waterfront and a historical museum without walking too far.

Visitors are not eligible for any senior citizen discounts or for the free public transportation. Only Bermuda residents.

If you are a Bermuda senior citizen, you can ride the bus for free. All other senior citizens pay the adult fare.

The fastest way to Hamilton is by ferry, about 20 minutes travel time. The ferry crew will assist you on and off the ferry. A bus takes about 60 minutes to get to Hamilton. A taxi takes less time than the bus, but it is expensive.

Right now, i can't think of anything that is a short distance from the Hamilton ferry dock other than shopping.

On Queen Street next to the Library is a small history museum. Behind them is a very nice modest sized park. Paths, sculptures, koi pond.

Also behind the ferry terminal is a park.
