Explorer Spain & Beaches July 15 RC Excursions

Hi, Just having a look around RC website at this cruise for things to do while in ports. Mmm!!! Reviews on most excursions non existent :( Anyone offer any advice?? Is it going to be a looooooong two weeks??

You need to research your ports...."excursions", especially for beaches, is rarely needed!

is anyone on your roll call discussing excursions and things to do?

We are on explorer on 29th June and we've had loads of help, suggestions and ideas for our ports of calls that we have all discussed together.

We too are doing Spain and med beaches. But there's certainly a lot more to do than just head to the beach.

Yip, I know beaches need no reviews, I live 5 mins from the Atlantic and I'm surrounded by beautiful beaches.....it was more of the city excursions I was interested in ??? Just unfortunate the cruise is titled 'Spain and Med beaches'. ;)

We are on this cruise (26th July) bit of a discussion going on in our roll call just now about port days. TBF it is a Spain and Beaches cruise and many of the stops are close to nice beaches rather than cities.

A trip to Seville (when at Cadiz) would be a good option and Nice (when at Villefranche), Palma and Malaga are fairly easy to explore on your own or on tourist bus rather than organised tour.

We are doing our own thing in all ports, not always sure whether our 3 teens will join us on port days as they often prefer to stay on board. They have so far agreed to day trip to Monaco (their choice) and a Segway tour in Palma.

We are on the same cruise as Michelle. Done all our port research. Monaco is a must. Gibraltar is easy...the rock. Malaga and Palma, might do bus tour and see what catches our eye. Sardinia and Corsica are beach days. Cadiz we are getting the train and going to the Spanish riding school at Jerez.if we get bored on shore we will go back on board .

I did a western Mediterranean cruise last year. We did RC's shore excursions for all the ports. I'm currently writing up my reviews. I hope it helps! :)
