Periscope question

I cannot get the sound to notify me when someone I am following is scoping. I do have my notifications turned on, and I have checked my settings. I am always having to watch the replay. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

Do you get a pop up on your screen, but just not hear it? Or, are you getting nothing at all?

Did you check the settings on your phone itself? On my iPhone, it's under Settings - Notifications, then find Periscope. I had the notifications turned on in Periscope, but not on the phone settings, so I wasn't getting notifications. Then my husband told me about the phone settings.

No pop up either. I only get the pop up when I turn on the iPad, that the person following has scoped.

Double check to make sure you are not in silent mode and make sure the volume is up. I've made that mistake before.

Without being an expert, I don't think you have notifications set on your phone correctly . I really don't know why else you don't get a pop up.

Check the person you want to pop up and make sure they are marked to notify you.

Using bugsycruiser as an example:

Notifications should look like that - not shaded (which is kind of opposite of what I would think.)

You can also see a broken bell next to the names of who you are following - this indicates no notification.

Thank you for your help. This is the way my setting looks. I may try deleting the program and reinstalling Periscope.
