how many formal nights on 6 day cruise?

6 days are rare. Is this the first Galveston cruise? There's a possibility of 2 if the ship leaves Coz at 4PM. Otherwise, there'll just be one, like on shorter cruises, probably night of first full day at sea.

2 elegant nights. I did 2 of them. Once on the Liberty, and once on the Glory when she went from sailing on Sundays to Saturdays. A 6 day cruise is about to become a lot more "normal". now that the Vista will be alternating 6 and 8 day cruises to the Caribbean.

Yes. On the Valor Dec 17th. Guess I should pack for 2 but know that there may only be 1.

for a guy... an extra shirt, maybe different tie, no need to pack two suits or sports coats. Plus you can get by, and no one will go over the intercom and point you out, with the same outfit. Just go back to cabin after dinner aqnd change into more casual wear.

for the women...and I'm sure I'll get flack so ducking for cover...that little black dress works both days, some different accessories will give it a whole a different look. And truthfully, except for the snobs, no one is going to glare at you and sneer because you wore the same thing 4 nights before.

Thanks for confirming 2 elegant nights and good point on the increasing of 6 day cruises alternating with 8 day.
