Family Suites

Hello. I booked a family Suite on Emerald. I did a search and came up empty. No hits. So, I have a few questions for those who have stayed in this suite

1. Location. It looks like it is right behind the bridge. Does this block the balcony view?

2. Can you access both bedrooms from the hall, or just from inside?

3. Is there a shower in one bathroom and shower/ tub combo in the other?

4. Does the balcony have room for four people to eat a meal?

Thank you. I may have some more question later.

No its on Dolphin deck below the bridge wings an open view forward. The balcony is solid steel rather then the usual glass. If you look on the Princess . com home page there is a picture of a couple eating on a balcony. This is a FS balcony. I was able to post it below.

2. Can you access both bedrooms from the hall, or just from inside?

The FS is a 4 berth inside cabin connected by a living room to a mini suite. Yes they have separate entrances.

3. Is there a shower in one bathroom and shower/ tub combo in the other?

Yes its just a quad inside with a reg bathroom and mini with a mini bath/shower combo

4. Does the balcony have room for four people to eat a meal?

Yes its a large extended balcony similar to the 2 aft side of ship ones on Emerald deck. It has NO wind protection. Its can get really bad and make the balcony unusable.

Thank you. I may have some more question later.

See above in red.

wow Keith, thanks for getting back with the answers. I really appreciate your time. We booked this for a Alaska cruise; we are going in July 17 so weather should be ok to go out on balcony. I know when we leave Seattle the open ocean it will be too windy to use; but that should be first and last day at sea. Again, thanks
