phillymaps Posted May 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2013 My cruise ship visits Gustavia on a Sunday. Are the shops open on Sunday? Anything special we could do on a Sunday? Thanks.
Rare bebop bonnie Posted April 5, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2015 I have the same question....Sunday shop openings?
sbgoddess Posted April 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2015 The vast majority of shops in Gustavia and Saint Jean are closed on Sundays. If you want to shop on a Sunday, head for the fancy hotels (Ile de France, Guanahani, Toiny, Tom Beach). Most of them have small shops on location with very nice (and very expensive) clothes and related items. These will be open. Note that these shops cater to the clientele of the hotels. So think 400 Euro bikinis, 600 Euro sundresses, and 1000 Euro sunglasses.
sail7seas Posted June 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2015 When you see the yachts anchored or tied up at the Marina, you won't have to wonder if it is pricey in St. Barth's. Some of the world's most beautiful yachts call there.
dzcovery Posted July 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2015 I was thinking of taking a quick trip to St Barts while my ship is in Phillipburg for the day. However, it seems as though all the shops and most restaurants will probably be closed as it will be Sunday. Is there anything else to do in St. Barts on a Sunday for a couple of hours to make my trip worth while?
