kelsea823 Posted May 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Hello, We will be in Copenhagen for a day on a RCCL cruise. We want to go on a canal ride, pictures at Little Mermaid, Tivoli, and a 1 or 2 hour Segway tour. Any advice on how close or far apart these all are or any advice on how to get there? Thank You! kelsea823 Posted May 28, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted May 28, 2016 What pier is your ship docked at. Thank You for your reply! We arrive in Copenhagen on Friday, July 1st, at 9:30am - 5:00pm. I haven't checked the dock for sure but our CC thread said C330.
Danish viking Posted May 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2016 Yes its Oceankaj so its to long to walk into Copenhagen from there. Take the bus into Østerport and change for any southbound train and get off at the central station. https://www.google.dk/maps/dir/Copenhagen+Central+Station,+Bernstorffsgade+16+-+22,+1577+K%C3%B8benhavn/L%C3%B8ngangstr%C3%A6de+19,+1468+K%C3%B8benhavn+K/@55.6742557,12.5647954,16z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x4652530d3d99c439:0x6d962cc8f3ae9f79!2m2!1d12.5647202!2d55.6727165!1m5!1m1!1s0x46525313d6a0a7f9:0xe777eca2bca802a3!2m2!1d12.5738097!2d55.6758001!3e2 http://segwaytourscopenhagen.com/ This tour takes you past the little mermaid. Then you walk to Nyhavn and take the canal tour. https://www.google.dk/maps/dir/L%C3%B8ngangstr%C3%A6de+19,+1468+K%C3%B8benhavn+K/Nyhavn+1/@55.6786152,12.5762861,16z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x46525313d6a0a7f9:0xe777eca2bca802a3!2m2!1d12.5738097!2d55.6758001!1m5!1m1!1s0x4652531807b2c1c1:0x5654474e2a2f05e2!2m2!1d12.5880598!2d55.6808256!3e2 Back to the ship you simply just take bus 26, or 1A towards Søndre Frihavn or Hellerup/Klampenborg to Østerport and change to bus 25 or 27 to Oceankaj. kelsea823 Posted May 29, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted May 29, 2016 Danish Viking, Thank you for your suggestions! We need to change our plans a little because we can't do the Segway tour until the afternoon. This is what we are thinking. What do you think? 1) Dock at Oceankaj at 9:30 am 2) Travel to Nyhavn and take a canal tour - is there only one company and do you know the schedule of departures. 3) Have a late breakfast or early lunch in or near Nyhavn after our canal cruise? Any restaurant suggestions? 4) Walk to Segway tours for their 1:00 pm tour that lasts 2 hours. 5) Return to the Royal Caribbean Thank you so much for any suggestions! I really appreciate your help! I checked them out. I think we may go with the Hop On Hop Off boat and maybe even the bus. It looks like they can pick us up at the dock in a shuttle. GrJ Berkshire Posted May 30, 2016 #9 Share Posted May 30, 2016 Enjoy the rest of Copenhagen, it's great , Nyhavn is our favourite. However don't worry about the Little Mermaid-you will be underwhelmed- buy a postcard!! I have not met anyone who really liked it, and its a good way out of the centre, only the manakin pis in Brussels rivals it as a disappointment.
