Well - no. Passengers can also pay the deposit and book later. So can you pay the deposits in another's name to book later?

Yes, a friend was on board and paid for a future cruise deposit under my name using her credit card. (I was hoping to use my credit card, but she was told that it had to be her credit card and not mine.) I reimbursed her afterwards.

Thanks. Great info. Hope to introduce my dad/brother to seabourn in the next few weeks after we travel this week. We've all had a tough time lately.
