It should come ashore as a hurricane Friday evening into Saturday. Moving very slow. Expecting tons of rain and flooding with the storm surge. Slow moving stalling out for days days. Doesn't sound good. Have a friend out on Valor now. Don't see how they can bring the ship back in. Yikes!

For selfish reasons I hope they can...and on schedule. A key employee that works for me is scheduled to return to Galveston on Saturday...and it will soon be month-end. I know, I'm a horrible person.

I have lots of family in Southeast Texas and most are "heading for the hills". My cousin is really concerned because he just spent A LOT of money building a new home...not a getaway...on the beach near Galveston.

Personal desires aside...hope all remain safe. I wonder it they would just divert to New Orleans rather than stay out in the Gulf? Seems like staying out there would be a "bumpy ride."
