not bad prices

I think it's mostly the European economy, plus American cruise lines are increasing competition in Europe for American travelers. Repositionings are always fairly cheap, I did Mediterranea back to Europe this spring, will do Deliziosa next spring. Remember to add in on-board costs, but the prices are still pretty good even when you do.

Don't but a cruise just on price. You don't say where you're from. If it's Toronto, you'll feel right at home on Costa, maybe not from somewhere else.
