Stateroom TV Channel Question

Does anyone know what TV channels you can view in your stateroom? It's not a Make or Break or a Do or Die situation but I would like to see the "Big Bang Theory" spin off "Young Sheldon" and it will air during my cruise. Thank you! :D

More than likely unless you are streaming it (note internet speed varies based on location of ship / number of people using) you won't be able to. Most of the "live tv" are international news stations

The ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC entertainment channels to which you are accustomed will not be available aboard ship... Some assortment of the affiliated news channels of those networks--such as MSNBC and Fox News [along with CNN International, UK-based BBC and UK-based Sky News]--are typically among the abbreviated lineup of channels offered while aboard [assuming a satellite connection]...

If important, you might consider scheduling that "Young Sheldon" [does sound as if it might be fun!] be recorded during your absence for viewing upon your return home...

None of the big US channels are available are out of luck. Streaming perhaps but that can be frustrating.

Oh, darn. Thank you, I will have my DVR set and watch it when I get home. I was just really looking forward to seeing it and it would've been fun to watch it with my friends, with a drink, from the martini bar :cool:

Since TV is based on Satellite Reception, we've also had times when the channel selection changed during the cruise so it may also depend on where you are cruising. This seemed to be more prevalent on transatlantic cruises I think.

Unfortunately, I will not be streaming on the ship. I cannot believe how expensive it is to purchase Internet on a Celebrity cruise. :eek:

If you Google it you can watch the trailer. It looks like it's going to be pretty good.

I completely understand, I will be cruising to Hawaii in September and can't do without my Outlander on Starz!

One other thought as you said you are going to be on a coastal cruise - Not sure how far out you'll be from the coast / what your cell phone plan is, but if you are still connected to the cell network - you might be able to stream over that
