Don't take your health symptoms lightly

A cautionary tale for us all. We sailed with our 88-year-old friend to the Caribbean in November. Three days into the journey she had a terrible night and told us the next morning she thought she was having a heart attack. The ship's medical officer told her she had "dyspepsia." Unfortunately she did not see her own doctor when we disembarked. Twelve days later she died from a heart attack. On sea or land, listen to your body, see your doctor and don't be afraid to "look foolish" because it might be nothing more than heartburn.

Good advice, thank you.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I was also on that cruise which was delightful.

Unfortunately, the warning signs of impending heart attacks are often mistaken for indigestion.

Be well and, again, sorry for your loss.

Yes, we met you at the Cruise Critic gathering through Beverly.

Those symptoms are especially experienced by women.

Thank you for your kind words.

Diane
