Hi Everyone ,

I wonder in anyone has sailed on the Carnival Spirit in a suite ?Which suite did you sail in ? Were they worth the extra money or do you have any extra perks or anything ? What was your opinion please

My daughter wants to book a suite or do I convince her to book a balcony cabin

Cheers Deb

We have stayed in the Vista Suites on the Spirit on two different occasions. We were in both of the Aft Wraps on Deck 7. Square footage wise (counting the extra large, wrap around balcony space), they are far larger than the Grand Suites, and cost less. We loved them on both occasions. We also had a Vista Suite on the Miracle as well (Spirit Class) for our 35th Anniversary and were able to fit 15 family and friends comfortably on the aft wrap balcony. As far as perks, besides the extra space and priority boarding (if you are not Handicapped, Platinum, Diamond or FTTF), you have a tub and shower, with a whirlpool bath built in and dual sinks. The aft wrap also have separate rooms in them (depending upon the deck), which make them nice (sitting area is separate from bedroom and bathroom/vanity is also separate). It will all depend on what you are looking for and what you are willing to spend. The Aft Wrap/Vista Suites also give you a wonderful view while sitting out on your balcony.

The aft wrap (Vista) suites on the Spirit class are in our opinion, the best cabins!

They are all 2 rooms with the bedroom separate, UNLESS on deck 5, then they are one room.

The lower the deck, the larger the balcony!

We have scored them on Deck 4, which is the largest, a few times!

The ONLY perk, besides a larger cabin, is priority boarding.

Cabin will be ready when all the others are ready, around 1-1:30.

ETA--notice you normally sail Princess. The balcony cabin will be larger than what's on Princess. There's even a sofa in the cabin.

Have you looked into a 9B Premium Balcony room? The cost is more than a regular balcony but less than a suite. Room and balcony are bigger with a different layout. Google Carnival Spirit cabin 7301 and you can see a U Tube video of this room. We have been in this room on the Legend and Miracle and loved it. They are right behind the aft elevators but there is absolutely no noise...trust me. Balcony has 2 chairs, table and a lounge chair. Cabin 7299 would be very similar. Deck 6 and 8 have same cabin set-up.
