Looking for an outstanding resort!

I am searching for a resort/property that really stands out as a tropical paradise in terms of beauty, atmosphere, service ... think the old tv series Fantasy Island! Am wanting to extend a cruise itinerary and am looking for a spot to truly just sit and enjoy the tropical tranquility with my spouse. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

There are so many resorts, in so many ports and extreme price ranges, and none with hundreds of acres of jungle... come to mind. Cruisers know hours long port visits, Trip Advisor forums keep a closer watch on overnight resort visits (you are better off asking there)

This poster put threads all over Cruise Critic with a very general question, and has not come back to narrow the question, or reply to any comments. It has been suggested to check TripAdvisor using the "Luxury" sort option, but we don't know if the OP has received any of the info provided.
