Plugs in cabins

There is normally a UK three pin plug above the dressing table.

They were too close to the top of the table to use a usb plug charger however on some ships they have turned the plug socket upside down to solve this.

We always take a short extension lead.

An alternative is that it is possible to get USB chargers where the lead comes out of the top and not the bottom like this one - http://images.samsung.com/is/image/samsung/uk_ETA-U90UBEGSTD_008_Origin_black?$DT-Gallery$

Sorry its probably been asked before - remind me are they English 3 pin plugs in your cabin?

On Britannia they are except for the one for the ship's hairdryer, which is an American style 2-pin. Ours was very rickety considering she's a new-ish ship. Also the hairdryer cable was hardly long enough to reach from the socket to the seat in front of the mirror.
