QM2 TA into the hurricane?

Any word about the scheduled Oct. 10th sailing from Southampton into the remnants of the current hurricane? Sound be one heck of a ride.

I don't think that QM2 will sail from Southampton on Oct 10th this year. She is now in Quebec and will arrive in NY on Oct 11th and will then sail eastbound to Southampton.

There could be some rough seas on her way to NY but I think the hurricane is eastern enough to harm QM2.

She can handle it. The storm is weakening plus the hurricane force winds extend only a relatively short distance from the center (which the Captain will avoid). QM2 regularly handles 60 to 70 mph winds with ease.
