We have done the PG once and want to go back (7night). Windstar looks great.

Is it just as kicked back?. Meals, Excursions the same?. Price is not an issue and we both enjoy the no dress code type of cruise. Thanks

There is quite a long thread on the PG board discussing this. However, many posters have not been on both cruise lines, so IMO, their opinion is not very valid. I have been on both in FP and much preferred Windstar.

There is nothing wrong with PG, I just didn't find it anything special. Service and food was much better on Windstar. You can go to each cruise line's webpage and compare excursions. If you don't like them, you can book excursions on your own.

We have done both, but the one on Windsong was just before its demise. We also did the PG cruise that went to the Tuamotus and the Marquesas. Enjoyed both but the service and overall experience on the Windsong was better. We hope to do Tahiti on the Windspirit soon.
